I'm sure you know where this is going.

Ooh, look at those tomatoes and I've eaten a bunch of them already!
In salads, in Tacos for salad garnishes...But, not in a sandwich.

So, I'm sure you know where this is going. Yup! My first tomato sandwich this year.
Yes! You have to use Wonder bread and Hellman's mayonnaise, salt and pepper are optional. This is the taste of summer if you ask me and my-O-my is it ever good.

I was surprised at how much just one of these tomatoes cover, they turned out to be a pretty good substitute for a regular sandwich tomato.

I can't begin to describe to you the soft yummy-ness of a tomato sandwich all warm and tangy. (tomato has to be sunny warm)
As we speak my Giant sandwich tomato seedlings are growing in there little seed trays outside, getting ready for the big transplant and trip to their northern destination.
I dream of future gardens.

OK, OK, I admit the two pictures of the sandwich are actually pictures of the SECOND sandwich! I got so out of my mind while preparing the first sandwich, I just went and sat down and ate it!  In shock, I realized I had never taken a photo of the sandwich put together, so had to make another, poor me. Of course,I had to EAT the second sandwich, and it was just as good as the first.

So when you think of me, just know that I am happy.
