My First Crush.

Ha Ha! You thought this was a romance post. Nope, a different kind of crush, physical contact. I've never been to one of those one day deal shopping extravaganzas, But your never to old as they say.

This was at a store called Dillards in Florida.  I guess every January 1st  they have a killer deal day. Remember I'm not really a shopper. I get my shopping thrills at the grocery store or wandering around Hobby Lobby thinking of the different crafts I could concoct with all their supplies, ( that I seldom buy).

I actually detest conventional shopping. I just don't have the attention span to compare and contrast every color or cut of a what-not or do-dad.

This store had three, yes 3 stores in one mall, if anything you get a workout just running from one store to the next to see all the people.
Each entrance before opening had a pretty large crowd. The store I wanted to go to had the biggest crowd, but I started in another one because I did not know the difference. After I got straightened out and in the right store, I was so stunned by the frenzied people squeezing around each other and grabbing things, that I just stood inside the entrance about 20 ft and gawked. I was truly amongst some SERIOUS shoppers, big money here; we're not talking Kmart or Walmart deals.  I saw a women with a purse dangling off her fully loaded arms that was tagged at $134. that's 50% off the sale price that's 40% off already!!! clearly I was out of my league, but darling did I get an eye full.

So many actively shopping, shoppers! Each person snatching up items everywhere, because they did have nearly EVERYTHING marked down. If this had been in my hometown I could have put an evil bulge in my credit card back in my thirties.

Below is one of the lines to check out in when I popped back in on my second gawking loop through the stores. I only bought two things, a gift for my mom and a pair of earrings to commemorate the day. Life events should be commemorated LOL.

I'm sure the tellers and all the security guards were soooo happy when the day was done. I would have had to sleep for a week if I worked there, the energy was overwhelming and I'm sure some of the customers were not that friendly, getting all those cut throat deals can bring out the aggressive side of shoppers 😄

Ill stick to the thrift stores if I do need something, probably find some of these "deals" at Goodwill in a couple weeks!
